This conference, organized by Wilton Park, an executive agency of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, will bring together policy pratitioners, academics, politicians, businesspeople, journalists and others to examine such questions as:
Will internal change and interstate differences continue to cause concern about the Gulf's future stability and development? How will Iran's regional role and internal revolution develop? Can Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states reform their economies
and political structures and remain stable? Can governments meet expectations of the rising generation? Will Iraq constitute a threat to regional equilibrum? Will water cause conflict?
