[Oman-L] Omani hammered copper - old or new?

very difficult. the designs are 'traditional', more or less. When I buy
stuff I tend to buy it with the idea that I like it and am prepared to
pay x. I used to buy things from a gentleman in Mutrah, whose shop was
on the harbour side of the suq, sort of a wing that went out and down to
street level where there was a fabric shop . He was v good as he did
understand what he was selling, an hour spent with him was always
informative, unlike many others who just wanted to sell it to you and
say. 'very old, very old'.
