[Oman-L] social , cultural activities in oman

Dear all

I have discovered this site by chance, and as I am planning to come to Oman 
soon for work, I would like to have some information about, and maybe some 
(friends) in this country, I am from the middle east and work in the 
environmental field, I have studied in the UK. My job will be based in Suhar 
and my stay as well, I am interested in having (open)friends from different 
cultures, I like music mainly classic, theatre, art , picnics, camping, 
adventures, poetry. I practice yoga as well. I know  a little about the 
country, but as I am not used to live traditional life, I would like to know 
some hints about possibilities of having some cultural, social activities ( 
never mind with Omani or expatriates ) . maybe it is little difficult away 
from Musct, do not know?.
