Hi Kanika,There are alot of things which could make interesting slides, architecture wise and historical such as the omani forts, the nakhal fort is one of the oldest dating before the Islamice era as well as the portugese forts in muscat; the physical features such as the wadis( water ways) and the under ground canals thousands of years old. also there are geological sites .The turtles breeding area in eastern Oman is one of the few places in the world where turtles come come to breed every year, this is one of big attaction tourists around the world come to oman to see.Salalah in the south has very interesting things to see as well as rich history. Just make sure you come with enough slides/film and I can assure you that you can make lacs of slides.I can recommend afriend who is also a tour operator to take you around at a reasonable rate without the fear of being over charged. If you need a photographer I can give you a contact. Welcome to Oman.Issa.

Hi

I'm plannign to be in Oman this summer and I thought I'd make some slides
for my University's(Univeristy of Michigan, Ann Arbor) Visual Arts library
while I'm there.
Can anybody give me suggestions as to what would make interesting slides
that represent some major architectural/artistic periods in Omani history?

Thanks
-kanika
