[Oman-l] a line between Oman and Poland

Hi everybody,
just joined the mailing list. Do you remember a cheap and towdry 
Polish Band that played in Ruwi Novotel Hotel from January 1996 till 
August 1996? My name is Margaret and I was one of the singers. Our 
performance was terrible as I can remember, but I think people liked 
us because we were not typical, like other groups, little bit crazy 
and friendly. My time in Muscat has been the most important part of 
my life and changed everything. I fell in love with Omani culture, 
people, landscapes, scent, I miss coast, beaches, food, music..
After my contract in Muscat I came back Poland and then took another 
one in Bahrain, what showed me in comparison that my stay in Oman was 
a heaven.
Today I work for a big polish newspaper and I finish my study - 
Tourism and Recreation on Academy of Phisical Education; three months 
ago I wrote a few pages for Tourism Section on Oman to share my 
passion with people. I feel I left in Muscat a piece of my heart. 
Well, if you know anyone who remember me, our band, my friend Anna - 
please, write something! To say the truth in 1996 a virtual 
commucication wasn't so popular and we didn't stay in touch with our 
friends.
