I recieved 2 mail today from above person. One mail came as attachment and
could not be encrypted. I am using MS Mail. I could not either read it from
my Compuserve 3.02 software which is strange as it was send from CS.

When sending mail to a number of persons, as in Oman-L, it is important to
send it in a format that can be read by all subscribers. If mail can't be
read by MS software I think that other software also face a problem.
1. Switch off Rich Text Format (should you have it).
2. Do NOT send attached files to any List Subscribers.
3. If you can, send mail ASCII coded.
With these three simple rules much annoyance can be avoided.

The second message came as a warning not to open unknown files. That could
be read in my CS but I did not recieve this mail on my Internet server.
I was of the impression that virus could not be sent via e-mail??
